Damn, thanks! I worked all night to try and learn the various settings in VRay... I am humbled by your comments and I guess the hard work paid off :-)

I just re-uploaded in the correct color profile (sRGB instead of AdobeRGB)

COOL! Looks rubbery almost :D You could even split these objects up, to and make 2 minimalist walls :) Keep it up I love your work. Curious, is Vray a renderer? Also what 3d sw do you use? Have you ever tried the open source Blender? I want to get started into 3d sw but not sure where to start with no money lol.

Hey Don,

I am sorry I never responded :-)

Thanks for the kind words... Yes, VRay is a RENDER ENGINE for 3D Studio Max. So I use 3Ds. I tried Blender a while back and it looks like it has improved tremendously... I am just so used to 3DS... I used to hang out with the media guys at an old job at NBC Studios in NYC. I got the bug for it when I used to drool at the TV graphics these guys would produce. All the logos, flythroughs animations etc. So I got a PC with it at work and used to play with it. When I made enough money in college, I got a cheap copy and never looked back. I am lucky enough to afford upgrades etc. But it is too expensive for the casual artist.

POVRay is simply in another class... you need to be a mathematician and I am not one :-( I wish... I love shapes and geometry, I even understand the formulas somewhat... I just don;t have a mind for it. I do a lot better with routing and switching and can hang around a firewall all day long LOL... IT is my life. Math has never been so I stick to the EASIER modelers like Max. Not that it is easy, but once you learn something... well, you know.

I say you should go with blender, learn it and rock and roll... heck it is free and really powerful and advanced. If I was tight on money, it would be either Blender or POVRay LOL.

Cheers
